We would love for you to join the Regional Workforce Alliance (RWA) administered by SoCalREN, LA County and Emerald Cities Collaborative.  We are thrilled to invite you to our very first in-person (Hybrid) RWA working lunch—details below and attached.

After a long period of virtual gatherings, we are excited to come together in-person for a meaningful conversation.  The focus of this Quarter II Meeting will be current and future employment opportunities in the L.A. County region. We are delighted to welcome keynote speaker Robert Zardeneta, Senior Manager, Green Workforce in Mayor Karen Bass’ Office of Energy and Sustainability. Please see Mr. Zardeneta’s bio here and feel free to come ready with questions for our guest. Additionally, we will be dedicating the final half hour of this meeting to open discussion on “current offerings, opportunities, and gaps” in Los Angeles’ Green Workforce. We look forward to a meaningful and productive conversation.

We are pleased to announce our second speaker, Monique Palmera, Institute Coordinator and Media Director, The Institute for Innovation & Entrepreneurship at CSULB. Please see Ms. Palmera’s bio and a short overview of the Institute’s inspiring and workforce-building program here.

A boxed lunch will be provided. If you plan to attend in-person, please reply to this email with your RSVP by Friday, August 11th so that your lunch accommodations can be made. Please indicate if you would like a vegan/vegetarian meal.
